
Flora Tzanetaki Pianist
Biography
Flora Tzanetaki is a skilled piano teacher, accompanist and soloist. She began her piano studies in Crete at the age of eight and her instrument has ever since been her passion. She completed her Musicology degree at the University of Athens and two Masters of Music in Piano Solo and Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), where she was taught by Fali Pavri. She was a top class student, being awarded several prizes and scholarships during her studies. She worked as an RCS Fellow for two years, doing extensive accompaniment work. Continuing her career as a piano teacher, she taught in distinguished schools in Glasgow, including St Aloysius College and Belmont School. She has also been staff accompanist in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for several years. She is now living and working in Cambridge as a piano teacher at King's Ely and Kimbolton School.
